The fresh MINI Cooper SD will be launched in the UK starting next month as the model will be available at the base price of £19,450 and a whole lot of features.
There are no details yet about the equipment that the Cooper SD will bear inside or the features concerning its powertrain, but what we do know is that the MINI Cooper SD is coming powerful enough.
We might be talking here about a 2.0-liter four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo diesel unit taken from the BMW automaker, capable of producing a great 170 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque.
The MINI Cooper SD is considered to be the BMW`s most powerful diesel engine unit and promises that more powerful will be added on the future models.
The engine is hooked to a six-speed Steptronic transmission, which makes the MINI accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 7 seconds.
The good news however is that the MINI Cooper SD will be quite fuel-efficient, as it will only sprouts 4.1 L each 100 km, with the CO2 emissions standing at 104 g/km.
