The British people from MINI released photos and details on the John Cooper Works GP, a model partially introduced earlier this year.
Today we get even more info on the sporty model which packs a 1.6-liter turbocharged unit capable to offer 215hp and 260Nm of torque.
The 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in 6,3 seconds with a top speed of 242 km/h, all these thanks to the petrol engine and a six-speed manual transmission.
The British sports car rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 215/40 R17 tires but also features a high-performance braking system with six-piston vented discs.
In terms of styling, the new MINI John Cooper Works GP features new bumpers, side skirts, bonnet, side skirts, roof spoiler and a Thunder Grey metallic paint. At the interior, we see a pair of Recaro sport seats, leather steering wheel, piano black trim and a revised instrument cluster.
For now, MINI released no pricing details but let us know that only 2,000 units will be produced.
