The British subsidiary of BMW announced that the 2012 Olympic Games which will be held in London will benefit from a special edition. The standard Mini Cooper but also the D, S and SD models will get the new limited edition which will be manufactured in only 2012 units. As the company illustrated below the special units will be available in three different exterior finishes, namely Lightning Blue, White Silver and Chilli Red.
However, the styling tweaks continue with a set of new 17-inch alloy wheels in grey finish, a new Union Jack stripe laying from the bonnet to the trunk but also a white roof with special graphics.
The special features are also available at the interior where the British manufacturer provides Black “Lounge Leather” upholstery, same Union Jack trim for the headrests but also special Olympic Games badges.
Excluding the additional features available for the new edition, the model will benefit from air conditioning, cruise control and Lounge Leather sports seats. According to the British company, the first units from the limited run of 2012 vehicles will be delivered starting March 2012.
