The Japanese people from Mitsubishi decided to unveil a new city car at the Tokyo Motor Show, namely the Mirage. The new model is scheduled to go on sale next year, Thailand following to be the first market to get the new small model from Mitsubishi.
Of course, the company will introduce the model in the other important markets later that year. Talking about dimensions, the new Mitsubishi Mirage is 3,7 meters long, 1,6 meters wide and has a height of 1,4 meters.
According to the company, the new Mirage will be offered with a small 1.0-liter MIVEC gasoline unit able to return a fuel efficiency of 3,3 liters/100 km. The three-cylinder engine comes with an Auto Stop & Go system while being coupled to a CVT transmission which transfers the power to the front wheels.
“Mitsubishi Motors has crafted a new compact car that will satisfy the needs of people all over the world, whether in emerging markets or mature markets. That car is the new Mirage,” says the Japanese car manufacturer. More details along pricing and availability will be available quite soon.
