Mitsubishi launched the new Mirage in Thailand, a model presented last year at the Tokyo Motor Show. The supermini model is 3,7 meters long, 1,6 meters wide and almost 1,5 meters tall.
Under the bonnet we find a 1.0-liter MIVEC engine able to return a fuel economy of 3,3 liters/100km.

The three-cylinder gasoline engine is coupled to a CVT transmission and benefits from the Auto Stop & Go system for improved economy.
“The Mirage is an all-new compact car focused on premium fuel efficiency and low CO2 emissions just right for the times where demand for superior fuel efficiency and eco-friendliness are increasing all over the world,” said the car maker.

The new Mitsubishi Mirage will be built at the Laem Chabang factory in Thailand and follows to debut in other markets such as Europe and Japan.

With sales expectancy of 2,500 units per month in Thailand, the new Mirage gets a starting price of $12,300 while the range-topping version costs almost $18,000.
