Mitsubishi released official pricing information for the new Outlander, a model which is scheduled to hit the showrooms in the coming weeks.
The Japanese SUV starts at $22,995 (excluding the $825 destination fee) and is powered by a base 2.4-liter four-cylinder unit producing 166 horsepower and 219Nm of torque. The entry-level ES grade brings air conditioning, a six-speaker audio system, power windows and USB connectivity.

Moving on, the SE version comes with dual-zone climate control, heated seats, a 6.1-inch touchscreen display, FUSE Handsfree Link System and larger 18-inch alloys.

This model starts at $23,795 and is followed by the Outlander GT at $27,795. The latter brings wood trim, rain-sensing wipers, HID headlights and other premium tweaks.

A more powerful 3.0-liter V6 powerplant with 224hp and 291Nm of torque is also available, being linked to a six-speed automatic transmission while the less potent engine is offered with a CVT unit.
