The tuning specialists at Mugen decided to present a concept based on the Honda CR-V at the current edition of the Tokyo Auto Salon. It’s quite strange that Mugen’s creation is called a concept rather than a special edition as it is based on the current CR-V model.
However, the package focuses on styling improvements , the exterior getting new LED fog lights, a reworked grille, a roof spoiler, new bumper and aluminum trim.
A new set of 20-inch aluminum wheels are also available alongside new fender flares. Entering the cabin, Mugen provides high quality materials, carbon fiber trim and new seats wrapped in leather.
The Japanese tuner also points out that the Honda CR-V concept rides on a retuned suspension while a new brake system improves the safety.
Even there are no official performance details, we assume that the company provides a power boost as well, mainly considering the fact that the concept is fitted with better brakes.
