The Germans from BMW officially released pricing details for the new X1, a model which just received a facelift treatment.
According to the company, the new crossover starts at £24,660 for the sDrive18d version and will be available exclusively with diesel powerplants.
The entry-level model is motivated by a 2.0-liter engine developing 141 horsepower while the xDrive20d model gets a more powerful version of the unit with 181 horses.
An EfficientDynamics variant of the BMW X1 xDrive20d is available as well and provides impressive fuel economy figures of 62,8mpg UK. The model in question develops 161 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
The X1 xDrive25d packs a 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged diesel able to deliver 215hp and 450Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 6,8 seconds. The top speed of the model is rated at 229 km/h while the fuel consumption at 51,4mpg UK with CO2 emissions of 145 g/km.
If the BMW X1 sDrive18d starts at £24,660, the range-topping X1 xDrive25d is priced from £31,860 in the UK.
