Chevrolet released official pricing figures for the new Corvette Stingray, a model which will be offered in two configurations. The Coupe variant starts at $51,995 and will make its US debut towards the end of this year. Standard features include a premium audio system from Bose, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, keyless entry, a digital instrument cluster and the MyLink infotainment system.
An optional 3LT package which costs $8,000 adds heated seats wrapped in Nappa leather, SiriusXM satellite radio, head-up display and satellite navigation.
If you are looking towards performance, the optional $2,800 Z51 Performance kit comes with a revised suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential, high-performance brake system and larger wheels.
The open-top variant of the American model starts from $56,995 in the United States. Both models benefit from a 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 450 horsepower and 609Nm of torque. This makes the 0-100 km/h acceleration possible in less than 4 seconds.
