Citroen decided to start the New Year with a special edition of the current DS3 hatchback. We talk about the Red special edition, a vehicle dedicated to the British market.
Being available in two variants, namely in Polar White and Perla Nera Black finishes, the French model benefits from styling improvements and other minor tweaks.
At the exterior, Citroen adds contrasting red parts such as the front grille, roof and side mirror caps. New 16-inch Ashera alloy wheels or larger 17-inch Bellone alloys are also offered in this special edition.
The company says that the new Citroen DS3 Red is based on the DStyle and DSport grades found on the series model.
Interior improvements include red dashboard and door handles, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, electric heated mirrors, a central armrest and an improved audio system.
Under the hood we will find a petrol unit offering 120 horsepower, a more powerful THP engine with 155 horses but also e-HDI diesel powerplants with outputs ranging from 90hp to 115hp. Pricing starts at 15,655 topping out at 18,060 for the most powerful diesel in the lineup.
