All-new Fiat 124 Spider debuts at the LA Auto Show

The Italians at Fiat decided to unveil the all-new 124 Spider at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the main automotive event that takes place this month.

The open-top model comes with a futuristic styling that combines a long hood with LED daytime running lights, multi-spoke alloy wheels and a fabric soft-top. Under the hood we find a 1.4-liter engine producing 160 horsepower and 184 lb-ft (249 Nm) of torque as well as a six-speed manual transmission.

If you want more comfort, there’s an automatic variant too but it will cost slightly more. Inside, buyers will find high quality materials such as leather seats, new trim and the Fiat Connect 7.0 infotainment system.

The 2017 Fiat 124 Spider is going to be available intially in the States in a limited run of 124 vehicles. They will receive a special Azzurro Italia finish as well as a numbered plaque. There are no pricing details on the Fiat 124 Spider Prima Edizione Lusso yet.
