Some official sources inside the Ford company announced that the French Auto Show from Paris will host the debut of the new generation of Ford Focus ST. A 2.0-liter engine will be available for the sports version Focus ST, an engine that is rumored that will be able to develop up to 250 horsepower.
Direct injection will be available for the new generation of Focust ST but also the Ecoboost technology. Thus, the new Ford Focust ST will have a consumption of 6.7 liters for 100 km.
The new Ford Focus ST is scheduled for 2011. The engine will be coupled to an manual transmission and the model should accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in no more than six seconds, achieving an electronic limited top speed of 250 km/h.
