The Kia South Korean based automaker has just announced in an official release that the new Soul EV model is ready to head production line soon enough.
The upcoming Kia Soul EV will come with major changes, especially for the entry-level version, sporting LED lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, a 3.5-inch OLED instrument cluster, satellite navigation and much more.
In Europe, the new Kia Soul EV will have the main advantage concerning the highest range in the electric vehicle segment, meaning that the EV car will be able to drive a full 212 km range.
Thus, the new Kia Soul EV will be powered by an electric motor under the hood, capable of outputting a total of 109 horsepower and 285 Nm peak torque.
The electric motor is hooked to a single speed ratio gearbox, sending all the power to the front wheels.
The 27 kWh lithium-ion battery helps the electric motor stay in range, as it will only need 5 hours to be completely recharged and drive the 212 km mileage.
As for the prices, there are no details rendered yet, but expect news soon, when the model will be launched in Europe.
