We got some fresh news from the China International Automobile Exhibition, an automotive event which is held in Guangzhou from November 22 to 28. The Japanese people from Lexus unveiled the GS 250, a more affordable model within the GS range.
The new Lexus GS 250 features a 2.5-liter V6 able to deliver 209 horsepower at 6,400rpm and 253 Nm of torque at 4,800rpm. The gasoline unit also features D-4S direct port injection but also the Dual VVT-i intelligent valve timing. With such resources, the model sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 8,6 seconds and hits a top speed of 230 km/h.
The Lexus GS 250 gets a 6-speed automatic transmission with a sequential manual shifting mode, a unit also known as “6 Super ECT”. The Japanese manufacturer announced a combined fuel consumption of 8,9 liters/100 km and CO2 emissions of 207 g/km.
If the new Lexus GS 250 is not exactly the version you need, there is also the GS 350 model which is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 offering 306 horsepower. The top-of-the-range model is the Lexus GS 450h which benefits from a 3.5-liter V6 along an electric unit for a total of 338 horses. However, you will have to pay significantly more for the aforementioned models.
