Putting the AMG badge on a model seems to be a quite common thing to do for Mercedes as the German company unveiled a new high-performance variant.
This time, we talk about the Mercedes GLE 450 AMG 4MATIC, Power is offered by a 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine producing 367 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 5,7 seconds thanks to a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
These figures are quite good considering that we talk about a heavy SUV model which needs more power compared to a coupe model, for example.
Even though it hits 100 km/h in under 6 seconds and provides a top speed of 250 km/h, the new Mercedes GLE 450 AMG 4MATIC also benefits from fuel-saving technologies for an average consumption of 8,6 liters/100 km and CO2 emissions of 199 g/km. The 4MATIC all-wheel drive system also does a good job in putting power to the wheels.
In terms of styling, buyers will get revised bumpers, large air intakes, black trim and new 20-inch alloy wheels. The rear is dominated by a two-pipe exhaust system with chrome tailpipes while interior features include sport pedals, a flat-bottom steering wheel, sports seats, Nappa leather and aluminum inserts.
