The Americans from Chevrolet got a real reason to celebrate as an iconic model for the muscle cars world reached an important milestone. We talk about Chevrolet Camaro, a well-known muscle car dominating the segment alongside its rivals such as the Ford Mustang. I think there is no doubt that the current Chevrolet Camaro is one of the most successful models in its segment in the United States. A good proof for this affirmation is actually the information we are discussing now, Chevrolet announcing that the 5 millionth unit has been produced.

However, the production stopped for 7 years between 2002 and 2009, an important halt which influenced the number of units rolled off the assembly line. Between 1967 and 2002, the American company produced 4,774,156 units while the rest of 225,844 vehicles were produced between 2009 and 2011. Chevrolet Camaro reached its fifth generation, the new model being introduced in March 2009 when the production resumed.

As you can see, Chevrolet prepared no special event for this celebration while the model is a standard one without any exclusive features or special badging. Other features of the 5 millionth vehicle include a set of steel wheels, the GM Dovetail Spoiler and premium Camaro floor mats. With this been said, we really congratulate the Americans for this achievement and we hope to hear more news of this kind as soon as possible. Moreover, we got a set of photos with the model that marks this record, as mentioned above, just an ordinary model without any special features.
