Opel is planning to launch the new-gen Opel Mokka X at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, taking place at the beginning of March, the model promising to deliver a fresh design, the latest technology inside and premium engines under the hood.
The Opel Mokka X will bring a new and more evolutionary design, highlighted by the wing-shaped horizontal grille, more sculpted surfaces, LED daytime running lights with a double signature, all of them providing the Mokka X with “a wider and more masculine stance”.
At the rear, the double wing signature is also found on the tail lamps. Optional feature include the LED taillights, Adaptive Forward Lighting LED technology and a few more.
Moving inside, the interior of the new Opel Mokka X is also looking fresh, thanks to the redesigned 7- or 8-inch displays with the latest infotainment systems, along with updated design elements surrounding the cabin. The multitude of buttons have now gone, as the car`s functionalities can be accessed via touchscreen.
In terms of safety features, the new Mokka X comes handy with the Traffic Sign Assist, Following Distance Indication, Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning and more.
Under the hood, the all-new Opel Mokka X packs the 1.6-liter with 136 horsepower, adding the new 1.4-liter Direct Injection Turbo unit as well, with 152 horsepower. The engine is compatible with a six-speed automatic, adaptive all-wheel drive configuration or start/stop technology.
