The Germans at Porsche presented the high-performance Cayenne Turbo S model at the Detroit Motor Show. As you probably know, we talk about the range-topping variant of the German SUV, a model powered by a 4.8-liter petrol unit.
The V8 engine is capable to produce 543 horsepower and 750Nm of torque, enough for a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4,3 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h.
In terms of styling, the Cayenne Turbo S stands out through new front and rear bumpers, larger 21-inch alloy wheels, LED lights and high-gloss black inserts.
Technologies such as the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus and Dynamic Chassis Control are standard on the new Cayenne Turbo S. At the interior, buyers will get full leather upholstery, carbon fiber trim, sport seats and a new steering wheel.
According to the Germans at Porsche, official U.S. pricing starts at $146,000, a quite steep price which also does not include the $975 destination fee.
