The Bugatti Chiron Targa has been recently seen in its latest form while performing the final tests and according to a new report issued by Autovisie, the supercar is due to arrive in 2018.
When it will arrive, the Bugatti Chiron will come in two body style, as a coupe as well as a targa, tha latter featuring removable carbon fiber roof panels. The same Targa will would also come with a ”T-bar” which connects the windscreen to the rear. The model will take its overall body styling cues from the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo Concept.
Under the hood, the same report confirms the old rumors according to which the future 2018 Bugatti Chiron Targa would pack a massive 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 mill, with whopping 1,500 horsepower and 1,500 Nm of torque.
The engine would be hooked to a seven-speed DSG transmission, which would send the power to all wheels. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is also reported at an amazing 2.3 seconds, making it one of the most powerful supercar in the world.
Unfortunately, the supercar will be built in just 500 units, the carmaker already receiving the first 120 orders. In case you decide to be the proud owner of such a model, then you should find out that the French carmaker is asking a 200.000 euro initial deposit, followed by a second one, set at 900,000 euros. The final price might go up to 2.2-2.5 million euros.
