After about one year since the Swedes people from Saab introduced the new 9-5 sedan, a new bodystyle, namely the SportCombi version will be introduced in March at the incoming Geneva Motor Show. The new Saab 9-5 SportCombi got the purpose to increase the sales amount of the Trollhattan-based manufacturer but also to offer a premium family car at an affordable price.
From the standard equipment we can enumerate the three-zone conditioning air, bi-xenon headlights, adaptive cruise control and head-up display. Inside we expect a big storage space including a 60/40 rear seat displacement which makes a lot more space inside folding the rear seats.
For now we don’t have too many details regarding the units that will be available under the bonnet but we expect to find almost the same engines as we find under the hood of the 9-5 sedan. More details about the new Saab 9-5 SportCombi to be released most probably before the start of the Geneva Motor Show.
