It seems that Skoda is preparing the sportier RS variant of the new Octavia, a model expected to debut towards the end of this year.
To be more specific, we talk about the sedan version which will join the range along with the Combi RS, a model we’ve already seen in spy photos earlier this year.
In terms of styling, the new Skoda Octavia RS will get new front and rear bumpers, revised tailpipes, new air intakes and refreshed optical blocks.
A new set of larger alloy wheels will be also provided by the Czech carmaker. Last but not least, under the bonnet we expect to see a 2.0-liter TFSI engine capable to deliver 220 horses and 350Nm of
torque.
For now, these are just rumors, therefore we can’t tell you exactly what will provide power for the new Octavia RS. Most likely, Skoda will choose the Frankfurt Motor Show to unveil the new model.
