Here is a set of new spy shots with the new Mercedes-Benz ML, the new generation of the German SUV that will debut later this year at the long-awaited Frankfurt Auto Show, an event which opens its gates in September.
Moreover, this time we get the opportunity to see the German SUV with the AMG package installed, some parts being however camouflaged but using black vinyls not that baffling usual camouflage layers.
There is not very hard to realize which parts are completely new as the Germans camouflaged them in order to keep the mystery on the final appearance. In the front, Mercedes fitted a new revised front bumper integrating daytime running LED lights, restyled front and rear optical blocks that received their camouflage layers and a reworked rear part.
Switching to the technical information, the first details announce a 3.5-liter unit able to develop 302 horsepower while the same engine can be offered in a more potent version of 429 horses. If you are a diesel fan, Mercedes will most likely provide a 3.0-liter unit able to deliver somewhere around 260 horsepower. Official details on the engine range are expected in the following months.
