Volkswagen released details and photos on the R-Line package for the new Golf VII. At the exterior, the new kit brings revised front and rear bumpers, a rear diffuser, gloss black front grille, R-Line logos, fog lights and few other minor improvements.
Inside, buyers benefit from stainless steel door sill plates, a flat-bottom steering wheel, aluminum inserts and revised sport seats.
If the exterior tweaks are priced from 995 (Highline) to €1180 (Comfortline), the interior improvements start at €640. Volkswagen also provides an improved steering system and a retuned suspension. These last features won’t come cheap, Volkswagen asking you €430 in this case.
“The offer is completed by the Volkswagen R GmbH, the new 17 – and 18-inch alloy wheels “Salvador”, the packages are compatible with all R-Line,” says the company.
If you plan getting the new Volkswagen Golf but you are not pleased with the standard features, be sure to check the R-Line model and see if it fits your needs.
