Volkswagen decided to take advantage of the Shanghai Auto Show and reveal the more spacious Gran Lavida, the wagon variant of the Lavida sedan.
To be more specific, the Volkswagen Jetta is sold under the Lavida nameplate in China, the new Gran Lavida representing the next step forward considering that the sedan version is already a good selling model for the brand.
Under the hood expect to see a base 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine but also a more potent 2.0-liter variant.
In terms of styling, the new Gran Lavida benefits from restyled optical blocks, new alloy wheels and other minor tweaks. The boot space is clearly an advantage now while the passenger space is also improved compared to the sedan model.
Pricing and availability details for the new Volkswagen Gran Lavida were not released yet but expect all the important details to arrive the coming months.
