Volkswagen released official details on the new Jetta Hybrid, a model which will be available for the first time in Germany starting April next year.
Priced from €31,300, the frugal model benefits from a 1.4-liter gasoline unit and a 20 kW electric motor for a total output of 168 horsepower.
Front wheels receive the power via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Official fuel consumption figures for the new Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid are rated at 4,1 liters/100km with CO2 emissions of 95 g/km.
Standard features of the German sedan include 15-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, Radio-CD system and more. There will be the Comfortline grade which includes the features above while a better-equipped Highline model will be offered as well.
The all-new VW Jetta Hybrid has been introduced for the first time in front of the audience few days ago at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
