Nope, before you chime in, Nissan isn’t in the business of gardening. They did deliver the first Leaf today.
But by Leaf, I mean the Nissan Leaf EV. The first unit ever sold in the U.S. was delivered to a a San Francisco Bay Area resident.
I can almost hear you giggling and making snide remarks about San Francisco and ecology. In truth, I reckon that Mr. Olivier Chalouhi (ok, i’ll let you have this one) should be congratulated. Not only does he get a brand new car, he actually has the courage to be an early adopter of such technology.
The first delivery of the Nissan Leaf will involve lots of media attention, a bit of fanfare and a press conference being held at the San Francisco City Hall Plaza.
With such a big event under way and with so many cameras around it was inevitable that Carlos Tavares, Chairman of Nissan America would jump at the opportunity to give a little speech.
The most memorable of all these parts are those mentioning thins like the Nissan Leaf changing the entire transportation world.
