Nissan officially announced that the e-NV200 entered the assembly line at their plant in Barcelona, Spain. The Japanese model is a fully electric vehicle which will be offered in several variants, namely commercial van, passenger vehicle and also taxi.
Under the hood, the e-NV200 packs a 107hp AC synchronous engine but also a 24kWh lithium-ion battery.
Nissan claims that a full charge, which, by the way, takes four hours using a 6.6kW supply, will provide a driving range of about 170 kilometers.
In order to accommodate the e-NV200 production, Nissan has invested around €100 million with another €300 million following to be used in the coming years. A total of 20 markets will get the model initially, deliveries being scheduled for June.
Pricing details for the new Nissan e-NV200 were not released yet but expect to get all the details very soon.
