The Japanese people from Nissan released information on the GT-R NISMO GT3, a model which has a starting price of €298,000. The racing car was developed in partnership with JR Motorsports being able to compete in GT3 competitions and being FIA-compliant. Under the bonnet sits a 3.8-liter V6 engine offering around 530 horsepower and 612 Nm of torque.
A six-speed semi-automatic transmission transfers the power to the wheels while an adjustable suspension improves the ride.
“Designed with customers in mind, driveability has been an important factor in the new car’s development programme. Therefore, as well as featuring a chassis that inspires confidence, suspension set-up and driver controls can easily be adjusted to suit a range of preferences,” adds the company.
Nissan managed to cut the total mass to 1,300 kilograms by removing the rear seats and using carbon fiber components. The interior features various safety measures such as a roll cage and racing harnesses.
