Actually, this is the first electric model to win this award, a detail which makes this award greater. I think it is not necessary to talk in depth about the Japanese electric model but however we can remind the impressive commercial recently presented by Nissan for the electric Leaf.

As we said above, Nissan Leaf managed to get in the first place with 257 points while Alfa Romeo Giulietta ranked second gathering 248 points, 9 points less than Leaf. A German model managed to get in top three, we talk about Opel Meriva with a total of 244 points, pretty close to Alfa Romeo Giulietta. Other four models completed the 2011 Car of the Year top, Ford C-Max, Citroen C3, Volvo S60 and not the last, the Romanian SUV Dacia Duster.
