Here is the revised version of Nissan Maxima sedan, a model which receives minor improvements which affect only the exterior and interior. In terms of engines, the 2012 Maxima is powered by a 3.5-liter unit coupled to an Xtronic CVT transmission. The V6 unit is able to develop 290 horsepower and suffered no modifications for the 2012 model year.

In terms of aesthetic tweaks, the Japanese company provides new 18- and 19-inch alloy wheels, new Dark Slate and Java Metallic exterior finishes but also a new front grille design. The cabin is garnished with Dark Piano trim, Cafe Latte finish, Atlantic Cherry wood trim and a new audio system.

The 2012 Maxima is offered in two trim levels, namely S and SV but there is a Limited Edition Package for the S trim as well. The base S model starts at $31,750 while the SV version at $34,450, pricing which don’t include the destination fee.

As mentioned above, there is a Limited Edition Package which includes new 18-inch alloy wheel in Dark Hyper Silver finish, fog lights, Xenon headlights and a rear spoiler. The special package is priced at $750 and is available only for the S trim level.
