The Yokohama-based company revealed new details about the 2012 model year Murano CrossCabriolet, a model which received a starting price of $44,540 which is lower than the outgoing model. The 2012 Murano CrossCabriolet is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine capable to deliver 264 horsepower and 336 Nm of torque while an Xtronic CVT transmission with Adaptive Shift Control transfers the power to the four-wheel drive system.
Nissan says that the 3.5-liter DOHC V6 is able to return a fuel economy of 17mpg US (city) and 22mpg US (highway). The Japanese manufacturer decided to significantly upgrade the list of features inside by adding new wood trim available in Cashmere, Camel and Black finishes, various leather upholsteries and new seats.
These features are available for the top of the range LE trim while the entry-level units get a new Pearl White exterior finish and also the Hard Drive Navigation System for all the models. According to the manufacturer, even the 2012 model year gets new features, the price will drop by $1,850 which is nothing but good news.
In terms of safety, the new Murano CrossCabriolet is bundled with systems such as Vehicle Dynamic Control, Traction Control System, Tire Pressure Monitoring System and a lot more.
