Nissan offers a new special edition of the current X-Trail SUV in the UK, namely the Platinum edition. The Japanese company decided to introduce the X-Trail Platinum Edition in the United Kingdom in a limited series of 200 units.
The model can be ordered only with a 2.0-liter dCi diesel unit offering 170 horsepower, linked to a manual or automatic transmission. According to the company, the diesel engine is able to return a fuel economy of 44,1mpg UK or about 6,4 liters/100 km.
The Platinum Edition brings only few exterior tweaks while inside, the Japanese manufacturer offers heated front seats, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, a reversing camera but also new leather upholstery.
“As the name suggests, the new Platinum edition X-TRAIL is a real luxury item, with additional equipment not seen on any of the other models in the range and a touch more glamour too,” says Nissan.
As mentioned above, Nissan plans to offer only 200 vehicles in the UK with prices starting from £29,180 for the variant equipped with the manual transmission to £30,560 for the automatic model.
