Until then, let’s have a look at the aesthetic tweaks developed by the American tuners form Oakley Design for the new Sant’Agata Bolognese-based supercar. At the exterior, the Italian model benefits from an aerodynamic kit including a set of side skirts, a new rear diffuser, new 19-inch (front) and 20-inch (rear) alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli PZero tires and also reworked front and rear bumpers.

All the components told above but also the new roof are made of carbon fiber which ensures a low mass alongside increase rigidity. In terms of power, the 6.5-liter V12 unit that fits the new Lamborghini Aventador is now able to develop around 760hp and 745 Nm of torque over the standard 690hp and 690 Nm of torque. The additional power amount is available mainly thanks to a remapped ECU unit and a new titanium sports exhaust system.

In the beginning of this article I told you about some serious mechanical changes and I was not referring to the details above. Namely, Oakley Design decided to go deeper with the tuning and to modify the chassis getting rid of the front differential.

Therefore, on request, the Lamborghini Aventador LP760-2 could be a rear-wheel drive model, a very interesting proposal from the American tuners as the Italian supercar is currently available just with the all-wheel drive system. Moreover, opting for the rear-wheel drive system will decrease the kerb weight of the model by about 85 kilograms while the new exhaust system will also cut off 30 kilos.

This means increased performance but to ensure the efficiency of this operation, Oakley Design works together with the specialists from Intrax in order to develop a high performance suspension system that will keep the situation under control and in the same time improve the ride.

The people from Oakley Design stated that just 5 units will be produced but you’ll have to hurry up as 3 of them are already sold. It would have been interesting to know an estimative price but since now there are no official details in this regard.
