Opel released details and photos on the Adam S, a prototype seen for the first time at Geneva.
Compared to the stock model, it comes with an exterior body kit as well as a new sports suspension and several color choices.
The styling tweaks also include new 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/35 tires as well as a revised braking system. The new Opel Adam S is powered by a 1.4-liter turbo engine producing 150 horses and 220 Nm of torque.
Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8,5 seconds when linked to a standard six-speed manual transmission. Top speed is rated at 220 km/h while all the power goes to the front wheels.
Official pricing details are not available yet but we do know that the new Adam S will go on sale starting November. Expect more information and photos at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
