Pagani Huayra Coupe was an instant hit and the carmaker wants the same special treatment for the Roadster version, which was recently showcased at the carmaker`s new factory in San Cesario, Italy, with the sole purpose of attracting rich customers.
The Pagani Huayra Roadster is going to be unveiled soon enough, but the manufacturer wants to make it an exclusive model, just like the coupe. This is the reason why it will be sold in a limited edition of just 100 units.
Unfortunately, the carmaker didn’t allow photographers to get near the supercar, but there was one snapshot that might give us a closer look at the car.
The snapshot reveals the supercar`s carbon fiber rear wing with the exhaust outlets, which indicates an extremely potent engine underneath the skin. Other than that, we are not sure how the roadster looks like, but until its official unveiling, we will surely get it in some renderings.
Speaking about performance, the Pagani Huayra Roadster is believed to come with the same AMG 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, the one found on its coupe sibling, with around 540 kW and whopping 1,000 Nm of torque.
As for the performance figures, the Huayra Roadster would be just a slight slower than the Coupe, even if the body had to be reinforced due to the lack of the hardtop. If the coupe sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, we expect around 3.0 seconds for the roadster, which is not bad at all.
