The success received by Panamera made people from Porsche to achieve better results in sales when the model started to be available to customers.
The Germans from Porsche improved their sales forecast for 2010 following the success of the Panamera. Porsche sales rose by 11.8 percent in the last nine months. In that period, people at Porsche were already under management of Volkswagen and the operating profit also increased to a value of 600 million euros in the period from August to April, while sales topped 5.22 billion euros. Porsche remains one of the most profitable car manufacturers in the world, with a profit margin of 10 percent in the fiscal year 2009-2010.
Porsche sold 53,605 units during the period mentioned above. Panamera model proved to be extremely important in the Porsche range, although it was heavily criticized some fans of the brand. Porsche 911 deliveries decreased by 35 percent, reaching a value of 13,137 units, while Cayenne sales fell by 23 percent , reaching 18,932 units.
