Porsche has recently introduced the all-new generation of the famous Boxster, called the 718 Boxster, and the model is already set to inspire other hot models, like the future 718 Cayman and the 718 Cayman S.
Well, we are not sure if this might happen, not at least in the near future, but it`s good thing seeing the upcoming 718 Cayman taking its inspiration from the all-new Boxster.
And X-Tomi Design does make quite a demonstration with its own interpretation of a future 718 Cayman, highlighted in the rendering above. I have to admit, it does look quite appealing having a 718 Boxster with a hard top, with fresh design cues resembling a Cayman.
Rest assure, as rumors also state, the future Porsche 718 Cayman will come with unique design and interior tweaks.
Instead, under the hood, the 718 Cayman will receive a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 300 horsepower in the base entry-level, while the 718 Cayman S will get the 2.5-liter mill with a higher 350 horsepower.
And the performance figures do demonstrate that the 718 Cayman model will be a more potent model than the 718 Boxster. But until we get our hands on the new Cayman, feel free to explore this rather fun rendering!
