With a starting price of €80,183 (VAT included) and with the launching date set for August this year, the new Porsche Panamera Diesel promises remarkable performance with optimized fuel consumption and great driving range figures.
Under the bonnet, the Germans prepared a 3.0-liter unit producing 247 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. Until now, there are not many reasons to consider this model a king of the road but the fuel consumption figures will show the difference.
More exactly, Porsche claims that the Panamera Diesel is able to provide a fuel consumption of 6,5 liters/100 km, opting for special low roll-resistance tires decreasing the numbers even more. The new Porsche Panamera Diesel scheduled to enter the market in the coming months boasts with an 80-liter fuel tank that provides a driving range of about 1,200 kilometers.
Additional details from the press release tell us that the model is available just in the rear-wheel drive version while the V6 unit is coupled to an eight-speed Tiptronic S unit. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 6,8 seconds while a top speed of maximum 240 km/h will be quite enough for your needs.
