The Swedish people from Volvo released all the details on the R-Design S60 and XC60, models that receive some performance tweaks from the sport division of Volvo. Priced from €29,050 and €29,650, the Swedish models are scheduled to enter the American market later this year.
R-Design picked the six-cylinder 3.0-liter and operated some minor tweaks able to provide extra 21 horsepower and 39 Nm of torque. Due to these improvements, both the revised S60 and XC60 are able to develop 325 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque.
The Swedish models come with an all-wheel drive system which will help you in certain situations while the power is managed through a Geartronic transmission, a six-speed automatic more exactly. In terms of safety, Volvo is already worldwide renowned, some more sophisticated systems such as Corner Traction Control and Instant Traction being available in standard.
In terms of aesthetics, the R-Design S60 and XC60 get revised front and rear bumpers, new five-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels and a new dual-pipe exhaust system. The models had been introduced to the American public at the New York Auto Show these days.
