Renault brought at Geneva a sportier version of the current Clio RS hatchback, namely the Monaco GP.
The French model benefits from a series of styling tweaks such as 18-inch alloy wheels, new Platinum Grey and Pearlescent White finishes, black side mirror caps, door handles and rear diffuser as well as an optional black roof.
Sadly, under the hood, we find the same 1.6-liter turbocharged engine capable to produce a decent 200 horsepower.
At the interior, buyers of the Renault Clio RS Monaco GP will get the R.S. Monitor 2.0 system, revised steering wheel and gear lever knob, leather upholstery with red stitching and special door sills.
“A numbered limited edition will be on sale in about 20 markets, including Japan and Australia, from the end of March 2014,” says the carmaker. More details including pricing will be released soon by Renault.
