Renault officially introduced a new concept called Twin’Run, a prototype which comes with an impressive power/weight ratio.
With a total mass of just 950 kilograms, it packs a powerful 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 316 horsepower and 379Nm of torque, enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,5 seconds when linked to a six-speed sequential transmission.
Top speed is limited at 250 km/h while a rear-wheel system and limited-slip differential are available as well. The Renault Twin’Run concept measures 3680mm long, 1750mm wide and 1493mm tall.
Exterior features include carbon fiber front and rear bumpers, roof, a tubular chassis, 18-inch alloy wheels fitted with 205/40 (front) and 245/35 (rear) Michelin tires. Inside, the prototype comes with a sport steering wheel, LCD instrument cluster, Sparco seats, Alcantara trim and racing harnesses.
A high-performance brake system with six-piston calipers (front) and four-piston calipers (rear) is also available.
