I am not much of a Renault geek and I really used to dislike almost each model that came out the factory. But over the past years, the French carmaker had to redesign its marketing plans and is currently building a lot of high-end models that compete with the best in the business.
I can`t say that the all-new Scenic and Grand Scenic are one of the best in their branch, but I do say that they follow the carmaker`s new philosophy when it comes to exclusive design and important characteristics. The two of them were recently launched in an impressive mega gallery.
The models were first presented at the beginning of 2016 and will be released in French dealerships starting next month, with prices to be revealed at a later date.
The all-new Renault Scenic will be available in Life, Zen, Business and Intens versions, and boast with the latest technology and safety features, which are all better explained in the technical sheet in the media gallery.
As far as the engine line up goes, the models will come with a 1.2-liter petrol TCe, with two power configurations, 115 horsepower and 130 horsepower, respectively, hooked to a six-speed manual transmission.
On the diesel`s side, there is the dCi with 95 horsepower available, coming with the same six-speed manual, followed by the dCi with 110 horsepower, or the dCi with a higher 128 horsepower. A much potent dCi with 158 horsepower is also around the corner, hooked to choice of six-speed manual, six-speed dual-clutch automatic or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
