The Renault Talisman has been recently unveiled ahead its official debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Passat-like version already receiving mostly bad reviews, thanks to its German-like body style. Not too many days have passed and the model has been already rendered wearing an Estate body language. The model is also rumored to be called the Renault Talisman Grandtour.

The Renault French based carmaker is rumored to launch an estate version in the near future, along with an RS, but so far, we haven’t got any news or images with the two upcoming models.

But what we do have is a rendering with the Renault Talisman Grandtour signed by the famous X-Tomi Design, which is showcasing the same design at the front, while the rear end received the estate styling. However, this is just a simple imagery exercise and must be treated as such.

On the other hand, the recently unveiled Renault Talisman is coming with a massive and bulk design, aimed perhaps at the new Volkswagen Passat, and taking rather the same design touch both outside as well as inside.

Under the hood, the Renault Talisman will come with a wide array of engines, such as the TCe 150 and the TCe 200 coming with the 1.6-liter, the same unit also found on the Clio or the new Espace MPV, with power between 150 HP and 200 HP. The diesels will receive the same 1.6-liter, filling the DCi 110, the DCi 130 as well as the DCi160, with a twin-turbo setup and hooked to a six-speed dual clutch transmission.
