The French folks at Renault released new details on the 2014 Clio Cup, a racing model which is based on the RS 200 EDC model.
In terms of styling, the new model wears a yellow exterior finish with special graphics, new 17-inch Speedline Corse wheels with Dunlop tires, new front and rear bumpers, a roof-mounted spoiler and a rear diffuser.
Power is offered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder unit producing 220 horsepower and 270Nm of torque. A high-performance six-speed sequential transmission from Sadev changes the gears very fast.
Inside, expect new six-point harness, a digital dashboard, a roll cage and racing seats. The new Renault Clio Cup also makes use of a high-performance brake system with Brembo calipers, alongside adjustable shock absorbers from ZF Race Engineering.
The 2014 Renault Clio Cup is priced at €37,800 and will go on sale in September this year.
