Kia sent the all-new GT sports sedan for some camouflaged tests a couple of months ago, but Kia World has recently released the first image with the model in the production phase.
Dubbed for the moment the K8, the future high-end model from Kia is said to be inspired by the GT Concept unveiled back in 2011, meaning that it will come with rather the same body styling and internal features.
The common features refer to the car`s roofline, taillights edge which flow down the rear quarter panels. Overall, the car`s design looks quite appealing with high-end styling features.
Even if the details list is rather scarce, we did find out that the all-new Kia GT sports sedan is reportedly coming with the same 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, taken from the Genesis G80, and developing rather the same 365 horsepower.
Furthermore, the model is also likely to be fitted with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, with performance to be announced at a later date. The model is expected to hit the market next year, as a 2018 MY.
Recently, Kia release a second teaser with their latest 2018 GT, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, at a topping of 280 km/h, being called the “fastest-accelerating Kia to date. The video didn’t reveal the car in its actual state, but it did show a black and white image with the car`s speedometer stopping at 280 km/h.
Question: are we looking here at the same GT model that the company is keeping it so secretly hidden until final release next year?
