The French people from Renault officially unveiled today the new Clio 4, a model scheduled to meet the audience for the first time later this year, at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
The new Clio 4 will be offered as a five-door model only with an engine range including a petrol and a diesel unit.
The first one is a tiny 0.9-liter turbocharged petrol unit offering 89 horses and 135Nm of torque with a fuel economy rated at 4,3 liters/100km and CO2 emissions of 99 g/km.
Next up is a 1.5-liter turbo diesel offering the same power output but a lower consumption at just 3,2 liters/100km.
Somewhere next year, the range will be extended with a more powerful 1.2-liter petrol unit capable to develop 118 horsepower and 190Nm of torque. The new Renault Clio 4 will be built at the Flins plant in France but also in Turkey.
“Like muscles, its curves express the dynamism radiated by the DeZir concept car. No acute or aggressive angles, just voluptuous curves that make you want to go up to it and caress it,” says the company.
