The Spanish people from Seat decided to reveal the new model year Exeo, a model which debuts this fall and is specially designed for the European market. As mentioned in the title, Seat unveiled the 2012 Exeo sedan but also the ST (estate) model.
At the exterior, the company opted for revised optical blocks with LED daytime running lights, new 17 and 18-inch alloy wheels but also bi-xenon headlights and a honeycomb front grille. Inside, Seat provides a new leather upholstery alongside a revised steering wheel and new trim.
Under the bonnet, both versions of the 2012 Exeo will be powered by TDI engines developing from 120 to 143 horsepower. When fitted with a manual transmission, these engines provide improved CO2 emissions figures of 130 g/km while the diesel engines are also offering improved efficiency for the new model year.
On the EU combined cycle, the 2012 Seat Exeo sedan is able to return an improved fuel consumption of 4,9 liters/100 km, around 48mpg US and 57,6mpg UK.
“From the autumn, Exeo’s distinctive design will be further enhanced and the powerful TDI engines become even more efficient. The new upgrade adds even more appeal to the sporty, comfortable Exeo and the spaciously dynamic Exeo ST,” adds the company.
