After officially introducing the all-new Octavia last month, the Czech folks at Skoda began testing the Combi variant of the new sedan. The upcoming Octavia Combi is scheduled to hit the market later next year and it is meant to be a more spacious alternative to the four-door sedan.
Under the hood, we should find the same engine range of the sedan model, namely a total of eight powerplant.
Outputs will range from 86 horses, the entry-level petrol unit, all the way up to 180 horsepower which is the range-topping version.
Of course, the new Skoda Octavia Combi will be significantly bigger providing a better luggage space. The interior passenger space is likely to be expanded in order to transform it in a truly family car.
The transmission are also very possible to carryover which means that the more affordable variants will benefit from five- and six-speed manual gearboxes while a seven-speed DSG is also on the list.
