Skoda, the Czech car manufacturer, recently introduced the facelift model of its best-selling electric car, the Enyaq. Adding to that, the new Skoda Enyaq is a technical revolution with true elegance incorporated into the car’s design. We got the chance to test this rejuvenated SUV, and here is what we think about it.

Imposing Exterior?
First, let’s discuss exterior design – the new Enyaq is as eye-catching and unique as any other Skoda model. The Tech Deck Face styling of the front parts provides some good icing and the new LED Matrix headlights blend into the overall scheme of things very well. The Enyaq brings first-rate communication that is high-tech without being overly slick. The Sportline trim accentuates this theme with features specific to it, though our impressions were again with the less ‘athletic’ variant that seems to mature and refined than sporty.
Interior Design
I must admit that as soon as we entered the premises, I noticed certain peculiarities here and there, which in fact hinted at the interior design. The core of the musical instrument is the brand’s small screen equipped with a “shade,” an old conception contrasting with open dashboard displays that are typical for many established premium brands. Interior features include the dashboard, door panels, and seats, which are all adorned with modern sculpture designs that have been seamlessly integrated with finely balanced surface textures easily seen.
The actual instrument panel is 5 inches larger than most vehicles, but the success of the head-up display supports its informative function. To that end, the large 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system helps add a major touch to the modern world.
Performance & Autonomy
Slying under the Enyaq is a wide array of engines. The Enyaq 60 is an especially modified version has a maximum power output of 204 HP and 310 Nm of torque with a rear-wheel drive layout inherent to the MEB platform. The 63 kWh battery gives the car good power handling, reaching 100-km in 8.1 seconds, with a top speed of 160 kph. The stronger Enyaq 85 models are equipped with the 2.0 TSI engine of 285 HP and a maximum torque of 545 Nm. Battery capacity is raised to 82 kWh. The highest trim level of the Enyaq 85x comes with all-wheel drive and outputs 285 HP and an 82 kWh battery.
The Electric Version is The Gem behind the Scenes
Certainly, the single greatest improvement in the modified Enyaq series is the amount of maximum autonomy, which now reaches 586 km. This great number is clear evidence that Skoda has been committed to creating a purely electric car that has low fuel consumption.
The facelift version of the Skoda Enyaq is a clear example of how style can be married with performance to give a consistently desirable automobile. What we really loved was the look of the car without telling it is, in fact, a vehicle affiliated with a sporting lineage; the look was even more mature and classy, and yet the accouterment of high technology that this brand is associated with was still intact.
There can be no doubt that this electric SUV has been around for a long time, so it can count on a constant process of evolution, which will make it among the leaders in the newly emerging electric vehicle market. Skoda dying the light blue on the future with the Enyaq has been magnificent, and we look forward to what they have for us next.
