Skoda Octavia RS230 Packs Power Kit Courtesy of JE Design

It is not every day we get to see a Skoda Octavia RS230 getting extra punches under the hood from a tuner, but it seems that JE Design has properly taken care of this model seen below in the media gallery.

I am not much of a Skoda lover but I get excited whenever I get to see one being customized with some extra goodies under the hood. The modifications start at the exterior, the tuner offering new bits at extra costs.

For instance, if you like to get some mechanical upgrades, like the new lowering springs which lower the car`s ride height by 35 mm, then you should throw around 190 euros, while the suspension kit, including the KW coilover spring and damper kit with adjustable ride height, independently variable bounce or rebound control, will make you empty your pocket for another 1,079 euros.

311 euros is the price for the new wheels – the 20-inch Twin Five Spoke alloys with black gloss polished velvet finish – in case you want to make your Octavia RS230 more aggressive, while adding other aero styling bits, available for 446 euros. The body kit consists of roof spoiler, custom front spoiler, headlamp eyebrows, two wide exhaust outlets and the Black Metallic exterior colour.

The presence of the stainless steel sound flap sports exhausts at the rear end indicates that there is also a power kit under the hood as well. In the stock version, the Skoda Octavia RS230 model packs 230 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, delivering a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in around 6.8 seconds, which is not impressive at all.

With the JE Design`s new power kit, this version here is capable now of 300 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque, while the 100 km/h sprint is done in an improved 6.6 seconds. The top speed has been also raised to 258 km/h.
